Drywall Patching
Wall Patching
Wall patching repairs damaged sections of vertical drywall surfaces. The patch must sit flush with the existing plane, be taped at its perimeter to prevent cracking, and be texture matched so it blends into the surrounding wall.

About Wall Patching
Wall patches are the most common repair we do, and the most common places we find them are behind doors, along hallways, where furniture has been moved, and wherever a plumber or electrician has been.
The technique varies with size, but the finishing does not. Whatever the method, the perimeter gets taped, the compound gets feathered wide, and the texture gets matched. Those three steps are what determine whether you notice the patch afterward.

Why this matters
- Method matched to the damage size
- Perimeter taped so no hairline crack develops
- Feathered wide to eliminate any visible ring
- Texture matched to the surrounding wall
