Where the focus came from
Spend enough time in this trade and a pattern becomes obvious. The complaints people have about drywall contractors are rarely about whether the wall is flat. They are about dust that ended up in every room of the house, a crew that stopped answering the phone, a texture that does not match, and a final price that was not the price discussed.
None of those are skill problems. They are process problems, and process problems are fixable in a way that talent shortages are not.
So that is what we built around. Containment before demolition rather than after. Written scopes that name the finish level, so you and your painter and we are all working from the same specification. Texture sampled on a board and approved by you before it goes on your wall. Cleanup at the end of every day rather than at the end of the job.

Why precision matters more than speed
Almost every drywall problem that shows up a year later traces back to something that saved a few hours at the time. A compound coat applied before the previous one dried. A crowned stud left uncorrected because nobody checked the plane. A patch perimeter left untaped.
None of those are visible on the day. All of them are visible eventually. We would rather take the extra day and not come back.
Who we work for
Homeowners who want lasting results and want to keep living in their house while the work happens. Property managers who need reliable turnaround and consistency across a portfolio. And general contractors who need a drywall scope that holds its dates and passes inspection the first time.
The finished surface does not know whether it is residential or commercial. It only knows whether the work was done correctly.
What we are building toward
A reputation that comes from consistent execution rather than from marketing. Reviews, referrals, and repeat work are the natural result of doing what we said we would do, cleanly, correctly, and completely.
That takes time and it is the only version worth having.
