Cost and estimates
Estimates are free and given in writing after seeing the work. We do not quote over the phone because a number given without seeing the job is a guess that gets revised upward on arrival.
The largest cost drivers are finish level, whether texture matching is included, and how many separate visits the job requires. Two quotes for the same work can differ substantially because they assume different finish levels.

Timelines
Drying time rather than labour sets drywall schedules. Each compound coat needs to dry fully before the next, typically overnight.
A small patch is usually one to two days. A patch with texture matching is two to three. A single room installation is three to five, or five to seven with a Level 5 finish. A whole house is one to three weeks.
Finish and appearance
Level 4 is standard for textured walls with flat to eggshell paint. Level 5, which adds a full skim coat, is required for smooth walls, strong side lighting, or any sheen above eggshell.
A properly executed repair should be invisible under normal room lighting once painted. Under strong raking light on a smooth wall, a repair can still be detectable unless the whole wall is skimmed, and we will tell you which situation applies before starting.
Dust and disruption
We use containment barriers, sealed HVAC vents, and HEPA vacuum extraction at the sanding head. That combination keeps the large majority of dust in the work area.
Most clients stay in the house throughout. For whole house projects or extensive ceiling work there are usually one or two days you would rather be elsewhere, and we tell you which in advance.
Working with us
We serve all of Orange County from our Irvine office with no travel surcharge. We provide written scopes on every job. We clean at the end of every day, not just at the end of the job. And we walk the completed work with you before calling it done.
